Welcome to AD Counselling & Wellness, Newtownabbey, a private counselling practice located on Antrim Road, Glengormley.

Our confidential therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive space, without limitations or restrictions, a supportive environment  for clients to explore  thoughts, feelings and behaviours without judgment or expectation. Counselling can help you make sense of your thoughts,  understand your emotions and develop coping skills to navigate life's challenges. 

With over 10 years experience & trauma informed therapeutic training, I provide bespoke therapy and healing.

I have a strong client base, and a proven track record of helping clients work through a range of presentations, offering both short and long term therapeutic support as well as a continued therapeutic relationship for clients to reach out as and when they need to.

I hold a firm belief that giving the right conditions and support each person the inherent ability to heal. Together we can explore your individual needs and move towards living well.  

As a professionally registered therapist, my role is to understand you, appreciate your personality, listen without judgment and utilise my skills in holistic and psychological therapies to help you find a way forward,  achieve emotional regulation and reach your full potential.

As an integrated therapist, I incorporate various counselling approaches, including Person-Centered Counsellng, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy,  Psychodynamic Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing into my sessions.

My trauma-informed somatic approach holds space for both your story and your nervous system, allowing for comprehensive healing. By blending these theories within a unique framework, I aim to foster self-acceptance and strengthen your sense of self while addressing what comes up in our sessions. I tailor my approach to suit each individual's personality, ensuring that the therapy aligns with you rather than expecting you to adapt to the therapy.

I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, offering a nonjudgemental space helping clients achieve their personal and professional goals. My training and experience encompass a wide range of therapeutic techniques allowing me to support and meet clients exactly as they need.
